This is not the first time that I’ve posted pictures of rubbish in the verges. Over the years since I’ve been doing my morning walk I’ve seen beds, sofas, computers, fridges, car seats as well as the usual litter that people chuck out of their cars into the verges. I am always at a loss to understand the mentality of someone who is happy to spoil our countryside by dumping stuff rather than chucking it in their own bin or taking it to the tip. This is a collection of what I spotted this morning. I think a lot of it had been disturbed by the harvesting that has been going on in several of the fields. What else can I say. It’s not pretty, it’s not clever – it’s just a disgrace…..
