Dryathlon day 2: More resolutions

Day two – so far so good.  Yesterday it was really easy not to have a drink.  The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of social events, celebrations and gatherings – all of which have involved copious amounts of food and drink which have taken their toll on my liver and my waistline.  After lots of mineral water I retired early last nigh and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages!

Today I also pledged to get back to eating more healthily too – above you will see the fried brown rice I made for lunch –  very tasty it was too – although the kids took a bit of convincing.  I also got back on track with my walking which  also fell by the wayside over the Christmas period.  It was cold wet and horrible but I felt much better for it….

Now where’s that pomegranate juice?
