Dryathlon day 22: Pink fizz!

I have bounced back from feeling gloomy and under the weather yesterday and am pleased to say that today I have been positively fizzing with ideas and energy. Perhaps it’s because I have finally sorted my In Box and can see the wood for the trees or  maybe that the sun came out for just a little while and I heard birds singing in the garden when I went out the compost bin!

Funnily enough I have not had any real craving for a drink this evening. We tend to eat quite a late and very often by the time we’ve finished if we’ve had a glass of wine or two all I want to do is flump. This evening though I still have plenty of energy – my drink of choice was this lovely Bottle Pink pomegranate and elderflower cordial mixed with sparkling mineral water.  It’s light fizzy and refreshing and not too sweet. Even better because 10% of the profits are donated to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity.

Sadly as I type the mood is being slightly tainted by my 13 year old daughter and husband having an argument over school trousers.  Perhaps I do fancy a G&T after all…!!

I like the bottle pink too. Parents evening nearly drove me to the brink tonight – this has been my toughest day!
