Scary crows and corny fields

Over the last few days I seem to have been nothing but a taxi service for my teenage offspring, ferrying them and an assortment of friends to the cinema, shopping, parties and sleepovers.  Yesterday evening I found myself driving at sun set after dropping my son off at yet another 18th birthday bash.  Luckily I’d had the forethought to pop in the camera as I knew the light had been lovely all day.  With the crops just starting to sprout into life there are many rather alarming looking scarecrows appearing in the fields – which on first sight look like ghosts or contorted people emerging from the ground. While traipsing through a field to get a better view I was also rather taken with the remnants of one of last years crops….
