Super clouds – super moon

It began this morning with another lovely later summer early morning walk.  The sky was bluer than blue with curious streaks and wisps of clouds trailing across the sky.

This evening there was a super harvest moon. We bolted our tea and rushed to see it rise orange and streaked with cloud,  from the village church yard.  The air was still and we could hear the distant hoot of an owl while bats flitted across the darkening sky…
