That was October

This post is a bit late coming after a tempête de merde of a week last week – I won’t go into details but many things decided to conspire against us both personally and in our business so it was not a good time! Thank goodness for yoga! Anyway those who know me know that I’m generally a half full not a half empty person so I won’t dwell on all the negativity – it’s now a new week full of new possibilities and intentions!

One of those intentions is to develop new personal and business projects and I am please to say many of these have started to take shape so watch this space for details!

In the meantime here is a photo review of October – a mix of mellow fruitfulness, usually balmy weather and the most amazing sunsets! Yoga featured highly this month with a fab visit to the Om Yoga Show, new classes and a lovely retreat day with Bea Ives and Pema Clark at the Bhuti Yoga Retreat (more soon on my Yogavision website). At the beginning of the month I learned to make soap with Helen Hornagold of Made In Norfolk  who was running a workshop at of Norfolk Countryside and Craft Courses. My finished product of orange, clove and neroli soap has been curing in my yoga room and it smells amazing!

Family figured highly in October too as my daughter left for Oxford to start and Uni – it was very emotional but we are all so proud of what she has achieved! From what we have heard from her in the past few weeks it sounds like she is embraced the student lifestyle with gusto!

So here’s to a great November – watch out for most posts soon including some seasonal recipes and some long overdue creative photography features!
