It’s been a funny old week! We’ve been trying to get our heads around a lot of different things work wise – including how some serious marketing planning for our business along with several small but important jobs for our clients.
On Wednesday I was in Norwich for a meeting and a then small photography job after which I found myself in The Lanes in Norwich at lunchtime with a rumbling stomach! As it was cold and wet I decided to venture into Biddy’s Tea Room for “a spot of lunch”.
Biddy’s is a haven for vintage lovers with a riot of crockery, furniture, pictures and other knick-knacks both upstairs and down. Resisting the temptation to dine purely on cake I ordered a plate of the finger sandwiches and a Chai latte – a rather exotic choice I must say and the first I’ve ever had! My order arrived very quickly and both the food and the drink were lovely. The atmosphere in Biddy’s was great too. Forties classic numbers played in the background and it was very bustling for a wet Wednesday lunchtime.
Luckily I had my daughter’s little point and shoot camera with me so I sped round after I paid the bill and took a few snaps. So if you’re shopping in Norwich and looking for a lovely place for a drink and cake or lunch I can highly recommend Biddy’s!
