Road trip to Tuscany – part 1
For the first time in four years we finally made it on holiday abroad as a family. We were really lucky to be able to rent a lovely little house in Northern Tuscany from some friends.and we thought that we would try and save money (ha ha!) by driving down to Italy through France (it also meant that Geoff could take his bike). All in all it was a great road trip and really good to escape from Brexit Britain.
We stopped off twice one the way down - once in the champagne region of France and then in Geneva with some friends - before arriving in the lovely little house high up in the Italian Hills. The mountain views were breath taking - especially for us Norfolk folk who only do flat!
The holiday was also the first serious outing for the little Fuji X-T10 that I bought earlier in the year and I have to say that I have been very pleased with the results. It's a brilliant travel/hand bag camera and has a really lovely filmic quality. At the moment I only have the very basic 18-50 kit lens but I'm certainly interested in acquiring more! Let me know what you think!
