Hurrah – spring has finally arrived! The weekend was lovely with temperatures well into double figures and plenty of sunshine. This winter has been a really long haul for everyone and I was beginning to wonder if it would stay for good – let’s hope that the warm weather is here to stay.
Well Monday has rolled round again and once again I’ve started the week yet again with good intentions for healthy eating. Sadly after a similar start to last week I did very quickly slip back into my bad ways and was eating chocolate and drinking wine by Tuesday night. I’m hoping that the good weather will inspire me to keep at it this week. I got on the scales this morning to find I was the heaviest I’ve been since I was pregnant 14 years ago so I really do need to get a grip as my middle age is really spreading! I began at lunch with this lovely ramen vegetable soup followed by fresh pineapple and melon. I hope to report better news next Monday!
